Description PROJECT MANAGERS & PROGRAMME MANAGERS ENGINEERING CONSULTANCY GLOUCESTERSHIRE
We are seeking project management professionals to be based in Quedgeley near Gloucester and to manage multi-disciplined technical project teams of engineers, scientists and consultants, also taking responsibility for Contract management, ensuring that all safety and quality requirements are met for the project and that all project milestones are met on time to budget and customer satisfaction.
As Project Manager or Programme Manager you will be required to develop strong working relationships with customers and will assist with business development within the department which will include the management of bids and proposals.
A range of vacancies exist from Project Manager to experienced Programme Manager to deliver engineering, technical and safety case projects and programmes for customers. Projects vary in complexity and size from tens of £k to several £M. Groups of smaller projects may be managed as a portfolio.
To succeed as Project Manager or Programme Manager, you should have demonstrable experience of working in a technical project or programme environment and must have a strong project management background and a proven track record of delivery. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to lead a project team are essential as is the ability to obtain security clearance.
A good knowledge of the civil nuclear industry and the associated regulatory environment and / or previous experience of working on nuclear licensed sites would be an advantage, as would a full UK driving licence.
