Description AEROSPACE PRINCIPAL ENGINEERS INTERNATIONAL CONSULTANCY BRISTOL
The position of Aerospace Principal Engineer in Bristol is a senior post, reporting directly to the Aerospace Chief Stress Engineer. The role is ideally suited to aerospace industry specialists who have extensive and appropriate experience of aircraft stress analysis.
To succeed as Aerospace Principal Engineer you will be Degree qualified in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering, or possess suitable experience in lieu of qualification. You will have extensive and appropriate professional experience of aircraft structural/ stress analysis and will also be fully conversant with aerospace industry analysis methods, standards and practices and the latest analysis tool and applications.
You should have experience of one or more of Finite Element modelling, Fatigue and Damage Tolerance and/or Composite Materials and will be expected to demonstrate a strong track record in technical leadership and innovation, a proactive attitude, strong Communication skills, good commercial awareness and strong team building skills.
Ideally you will also hold, or have held, delegated signatory status and have extensive experience of stressing composite structures.
All candidates must be in a position to obtain UK security clearance to BC level. Additional restrictions may apply to certain projects.
