AEROSPACE LEAD ENGINEERS
INTERNATIONAL CONSULTANCY
DERBY
Aerospace Lead Engineers, Derby - ideally you will be degree qualified with experience of technically leading teams and taking technical responsibility on projects involving relevant disciplines such as:
- Static stress analysis.
- Linear or non-linear Finite Element modelling and analysis.
- Dynamic response under impact/ shock loading
- Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analysis.
- Engineering design.
- Composite materials design/stress analysis
The position of Aerospace Lead Engineer is ideally suited to high calibre mechanical or aero engineers with appropriate post graduate industry experience. You will be given the opportunity to take a leading technical role on aerospace projects in airframe structures and aero-engines as well as handling diverse stress engineering tasks from general industry. You will be expected to take full ownership of the technical aspects, and to lead others in their execution.
Prior aerospace industry experience is desirable, but not mandatory. Ideally you will be pursuing Chartership with one of the main Engineering Institutes.
All candidates must be in a position to obtain UK security clearance to BC level. Additional restrictions may apply to certain projects.
