We are seeking a Nuclear Power Plant Engineer to join the Safety Engineering & Management Group of this global consulting and engineering firm, based in Plymouth. This is an exceptional opportunity offering a challenging career path in one of the world?s leading energy industry consultants supporting assessments of the design, development and operation of nuclear facilities and related support systems and services.
As Nuclear Power Plant Engineer you will work within a dynamic project based environment focusing on delivering safety services, including engineering design evaluation, options studies, safety case preparation and analysis, ARM studies, and safety management appraisals; from concept through design, implementation, operation and decommissioning to their global client base
To succeed as Nuclear Power Plant Engineer, you must have advanced knowledge of nuclear power plant design and/or operation. You should have a BSc or MSc in a relevant engineering or scientific subject, and membership or equivalent experience of an appropriate professional institution.
You must also have strong analytical skills and excellent written and oral communication skills, including fluency in English. You should have good presentation and facilitation skills and must be flexible to travel and work abroad. You must be willing to work in a variety of different roles within the Safety & Reliability Group.
Due to the sensitive classification of the work these positions are available only to British subjects, either by birth or naturalisation.
