Description SENIOR WASTE MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT NUCLEAR CONSULTANCY OXFORDSHIRE We are seeking a Senior Waste Management Consultant to be involved in the provision of technical consultancy, including project management and possibly the management of junior staff, subcontractors, and technical review, You will be required to produce high quality technical reports on the outcome of your work and will have responsibility for the presentation of results to customers. You will also be responsible for delivering your work to agreed timescales and cost and preparing high quality proposals built upon an in-depth understanding of customers problems and of the company?s capacity to solve them. This role will also have an involvement in the development of new business.

To succeed as Senior Waste Management Consultant, you will probably have a very good first degree in a physical science or related numerate discipline and may well have a post-graduate qualification in an appropriate discipline, as well as experience in the radioactive waste management field, and be ability to effectively project manage.
You will have demonstrable experience in project management and in working on waste management issues in the nuclear industry, which will be in one or more of the following areas: Waste management, Waste treatment processes, Inventory studies, Packaging assessments or Decommissioning studies.
You must be numerate and able to use a range of software packages, have experience of customer interactions and experience in proposal preparation. A full, clean UK Drivers Licence is essential, and security clearance will be required. This role will also involve travel to sites in the UK and possibly abroad.
You will be technically able and innovative, will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in multi-disciplinary teams. You must be adaptable and able to work on a number of varied projects at the same time, and capable of dealing with real problems in a practical manner. An enthusiasm for interacting with customers and for solving their problems is essential, as is the ability to identify business opportunities and win work from customers.
