Head of Group Quality Assurance

Our client is a global business operating in a premium haircare category across 15 countries and distributed to many more. Since the start of the business in 2001, the business has enjoyed strong profitable growth. With over 600 employees, the Business has many accolades including The Times Fastrack award for private company growth.
You will provide expertise and leadership on a broad number of global product quality matters, health and safety and environmental management provision across the business. You will have the gravitas, leadership skills and experience at this level to drive forward a transition programme to improve processes, governance and capabilities.
A passion for quality, previous experience of developing an integrated quality strategy is essential. Experienced in a range of quality management activities such as planning, internal auditing and management of customer feedback, you will lead a team to maintain the Company’s ISO registrations.
As well as holding professional membership of the Chartered Quality Institute you will ideally hold a degree in a related discipline. You will have previous experience at a senior level in a quality role gained in a multi-site manufacturing environment, preferably within FMCG or the electronics industry.
Environmental qualifications would be an advantage and having undertaken auditing training would be desirable. The role covers all of our international operations, so there will be some international travel.
