Description PROPERTY RISK CONSULTANTS INSURANCE/RISK SERVICES THROUGHOUT THE UK ? HOME BASED
Property Risk Consultants with fire engineering experience are now required to join this renowned UK based Engineering insurer with the expertise to identify risks, assess their consequences and provide the necessary insurance solutions. This is a home-based position with opportunities available throughout the UK.
As the Property Risk Consultant you will be responsible for property risk management work on behalf of the Risk Consultants department. You will support underwriters/claims personnel through undertaking risk analysis visits representing the lead insurer; providing risk quality assessments; calculating loss estimates; analysing technical claims information and providing feedback and technical training. Among your responsibilities you will also provide technical assistance and services to their clients with a view to developing and maintaining long term, profitable business relationships. Furthermore, you will seek business opportunities by advising on available inter-divisional skills to clients, as well as promote the company image when dealing with clients.
In this role you will conduct risk analysis visits to major clients (£300M turnover and above), identifying and advising on physical hazards such as fire. You will compile and distribute reports in accordance with agreed servicing instructions. Furthermore, you will advise underwriters on new risks, risk exposures, loss estimates and risk improvement proposals. You will also act as Account Engineer to manage and co-ordinate other Risk Consultants with the company?s network on major international accounts. Other responsibilities will include providing technical risk management support and advice to clients as well as maintaining up to date technical knowledge and demonstrating commitment to continuing professional development.
Successful candidates will need a suitable degree qualification or other relevant industry qualification as well as significant experience in a risk management/insurance environment. Fire engineering experience is an essential requirement for this position.
