A first class career opportunity has arisen for a Lead Systems Engineer to join the Technology Department of this very successful, standalone company part of a major energy group based near Innsbruck in Austria which develops and manufactures large gas engines.
As the Lead Systems Engineer you will undertake the development and implementation of new service products. You will be responsible for the control and management of product development across all of the production series. You will undertake new and further development of engine upgrade, damage analysis and plant/system support. You will carry out constant further development to increase reliability by working together with internal departments and external suppliers. Your role will also involve producing presentations and reports of new development results. You will undertake challenging Engineering exercises, which will cover single components as well as the whole gas engine product.
The successful candidate will hold a Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification. You will need significant experience in an engineering role, as well as project management experience. You will have an independent, efficient and methodical way of working. Knowledge of German would be useful and you should be happy working in an international environment
