PROJECT/ SYSTEMS ENGINEER
ENGINEERING CONSULTANCY
BURTON ON TRENT
We are looking for talented, creative people to work as Project/ Systems Engineers, bringing both practical and strategic vision to projects.
You will be undertaking technical and project orientated tasks within our business or as an integral part of our client's project teams and so to succeed as Project/ Systems Engineer you will be an Engineer with experience in at least two of design, development or project engineering of high value assets, looking to progress a career in Systems Engineering. Previous experience in project management of engineering programmes would be an advantage.
The role of Project/ Systems Engineer will involve taking on a number of systems engineering related activities including Requirements Engineering, Concept generation, evaluation and selection, System design and design assessments, Acceptance planning, verification and validation assessments, Reliability Availability Maintainability Safety (RAMS) assessments, Through Life Cost modelling and assessments and Risk Assessments (both technical and project).
The projects you are likely to be working on will embrace a wide range of market areas including rail, marine, power and energy, civil aerospace and industrial sectors.
You will possess a good engineering related degree and be chartered (or actively pursuing Chartered Engineer status) via an MPDS scheme with an accredited professional engineering institution. You must also be able to demonstrate excellent communication, writing and presentation skills.
This role requires SC Clearance so you must be either a British Citizen who has been living in the UK for the last 3 years minimum or of another nationality who has been living in the UK continuously for the last 5 years minimum.
