Description ASSOCIATE CONSULTANTS NUCLEAR SAFETY CASE THURSO, KENDAL, WARRINGTON, WEST CUMBRIA
Fantastic career opportunities now exist for Safety Case Engineers to join the UK's leading firm of consultants in the assessment and management of safety and environmental risks. This company delivers world-class risk assessment to organisations undertaking high-hazard operations through a principled, innovative and reliable approach to work and people.
Successful applicants will be well qualified and have sound experience of the Nuclear industry. Our client will also consider Safety Case Engineers from other industries including Oil and Gas, Defence and transportation.
You should be self-motivated, well-organised with good attention to detail, and have good communication skills. You must also be happy working as part of a team, be IT literate, and possess strong analytical skills.
As an Associate Consultant you will have the flexibility of having the opportunity to work on projects that suit your skills and needs, with the freedom to choose work on long- or short-term projects, in a full-time or part-time capacity. You are not committed to working solely for our client.
Established in 1980, this company was one of the first companies in the UK to specialise in the provision of risk management services. Through a team of over eighty professionally qualified scientists and engineers, they deliver impartial, high quality advice.
This is a great opportunity to work with a renowned company. They have an excellent reputation within their established client base, and work on many high-profile projects. You will be given the opportunity to expand your breadth of experience, by providing you with the option to work on projects for a variety of clients in different industries.
Our client can offer you a competitive salary, with benefits including bonus, healthcare and pension scheme.
Due to the sensitive nature of some of their work, preference will be given to candidates for whom they can, relatively quickly, obtain security clearance (SC). In order to obtain SC clearance, applicants must have been resident in the UK for a minimum of five years.
