Description
Our client is a leading technology provider to the global energy and water industries. The have a requirement for a Maintenance Supervisor to provide proactive and reactive maintenance support for a large range of electronic production equipment.
Duties will include
Planned Preventative Maintenance and updating equipment records
Implementation of Total Productive Maintenance for Machine Operators
Reactive Maintenance – Fast fault-finding and repair to minimize downtime
Installation and commissioning of new production equipment
Spare part management
Legislation compliance
Effective management, motivation & development of Maintenance Technician team
Applicants should be able to demonstrate the following skills and qualifications
Maintenance within a medium to high volume manufacturing environment – Electronic or FMCG preferred
TPM implementation and training
Ideally time served with a background in process equipment maintenance
NVQIII or equivalent for time served applicants and HNC+ in relevant engineering discipline for other applicants
IECC Recognised BS7671 17th Edition of the wiring regulations qualification an advantage
Knowledge in the following areas.
PPM Scheduling
TPM
Mechanical and Electrical diagnostics
Singe and 3 Phase Circuits
SMT Placement Equipment Diagnostics
Automatic Test Equipment Diagnostics
Volume Soldering Equipment - Reflow Ovens and Solder Waves
Circuit and System Schematics
Pneumatic and Vacuum Systems
PLC’s
SCARA or Cartesian Robots and associated control systems
Conveyoring and Commodity Handling Systems
Kaizen techniques
OEE Management
Manufacturing processes
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate leadership qualities and have the ability to deliver and manage change. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential as is a pragmatic approach, with sense of urgency.
This role is shift based Earlies, Lates and Nights.
