Our client is the world's largest manufacturer and maintainer of people-moving products including lifts, escalators and trav-o-lators®. They employ 62,000 people, offer products and services in more than 200 countries and territories and maintain 1.6 million lifts and escalators worldwide.
They currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales professional to sell their innovative lift services to new and existing clients. This area currently maintains in the region of 5,000 units and they carry out all servicing and repair work to a value of approximately £10m.
You will be responsible for the Service Sales function covering North and East Yorkshire (900 units) with targets set for 2010 being a net gain of 60 units at a growth of >5% portfolio value. You will be expected to establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors and developers and will look to secure target modernisation orders whilst reducing the overall cancellation rate.
As a key player in a successful team, you will be utilising the Service Sales Management Process in full to deliver excellent results and customer service. This role is highly proactive and focused at spending time with our customers and developing good business relationships.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in technical sales and will be experienced in selling a service or solution. You must have excellent communication and presentation skills, be highly organised and have a genuine desire to help customers. Target driven, you will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and keen to work a part of a team in order to achieve results.
A full UK driving licence is also essential.
