DEVELOPMENT TEST ENGINEER
ADVANCED COMPOSITE PRODUCTS
BASED OXFORDSHIRE
We are seeking a Development Test Engineer to support the running, calibration and maintenance of the test facilities of this leading composites company, whilst ensuring high levels of quality & reliability are met.
Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will participate in product development projects, actively designing parts/tooling as required and will monitor outsourced testing activities such that timing remains as planned. You will also produce technical reports and perform document control activities where necessary.
To succeed as Development Test Engineer you must have an engineering background at Degree / HND level, be CAD literate and familiar with test equipment. Previous exposure to composites and/or tensile, compressive, torque, fatigue and thermal loading would be beneficial.
You must be able to design, upgrade and procure tooling / rigs as necessary, to adhere to company CoSHH and safety policies at all times and to actively participate in both internal & external projects; liasing with project members, customers and suppliers as necessary.
You will be joining a company who innovates in the design and manufacture of advanced composite material for high technology industries including the aerospace, motorsport, medical imaging and subsea industry.
