Our client manufactures refrigerated display cabinets as well as designing, installing and maintaining refrigeration systems for major supermarkets multiples around the world.
They are currently looking to recruit an experienced 3D Mechanical CAD Engineer to customise Group products and to match the agreed Customer specification whilst sticking to cost targets & timescales. You will bring innovative cost efficient solutions to product design, and develop these into working designs whilst maintaining a database of item drawings required for sites and develop solutions to reduce on site needs.
To apply for this role you it is desirable that you have a HND or equivalent in mechanical engineering. The candidate must be proficient with AutoCAD. Refrigeration or electrical experience would be advantageous. The successful candidate will have a demonstrative track record in managing tailor made projects from inception to introduction as well as working with minimal supervision. Experience in design using 3D with Solid Edge or Pro-Engineer is essential. Proficiency with design in sheet steel and other materials is also required. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively as a member of a multi disciplined team, both locally and as a larger group project. This requires the candidate to be an excellent communicator on all levels.
