You will be responsible to manage the production team to ensure the KPIs of factory production, food safety, product quality, production efficiency, production planning, plant maintenance and oversee budgets, plans and programs to ensure optimum utilization of available equipment, space facility and human resources necessary to attain manufacturing objectives, whilst keeping all the necessary facets of a World Class Poultry manufacturing facility
Naturally we are looking for someone with proven ability of handling a similar role in a large Multi National FMCG company. Direct experience within our industry will be most advantageous to your application. We envisage that you will have 15 years operation experience in Poultry in which 10 years in management role, with a cross functional management portfolio of: quality, engineering, logistics and manufacturing discipline headed major operational change. 10 years experience in operating fully automated poultry factory / plant experiencing major operational change is desirable. You will hold a Bachelors Degree/formal qualification in Dairy Technology/ Dairy Science and ideally will have successfully completed post graduate studies. In addition you will be a strong leader with a positive attitude who encourages others to exceed high expectations that are laid down.
The role reports to our General Manager for Poultry.
