Description
Role
Working in the Production Department, you will be wiring cables and PCB’s and you will need to be proficient in the following, as you will be asked to carry out a trade test as part of your interview:
Wire recognition and colour codes
Hand crimping and hand stripping wires
Pull off tests
Soldering wires to terminals, buckets, hook terminals and PCB's
Machine stripping of wires and crimping
Co-ax cable preparation
Soldering of co-ax cables
Ribbon cable assembly
Shield termination
Wire bundle securing
Marking / labelling

Start ASAP
Status Ongoing contract, possibly 'temp to perm' depending upon sufficient workload
Salary £13,162 per annum ( £6.75 an hour )
Hours 37.5 hours a week
Times 7.30am till 4.00pm Mon -Thurs and till Midday on a Friday
Benefits 20 days holiday per annum and a non-contributory pension
