A leading Aircraft Design, Manufacture and Operator are looking to fill a senior post of Head of Structures. This role requires a strong engineer with management skills with previous experience of signing off design and stress documentation to Aerospace standards.
To provide day to day control of all structural engineering activities with the objectives of compliance with airworthiness requirements and meeting specifications, cost and schedule requirements. This includes liaison with CAA, EASA MOD, customers, contractors and internal departments on all matters relating to the required structural engineering standards as directed by the Technical Director.
Ensuring that work from the Structural Engineering Department supports the overall manufacturing process by the timely production of stress analysis requirements and drawings approved for production. Applicants must have experience of working within a similar role and successfully managing teams. |
