Description
Our client is seeking a field engineer to work with Uniterupptable Power Supplies (UPS), covering the PPM, repair, upgrade, replacement or installation for a variety of different customers throughout the Herts Beds and Bucks area.
Educated to HND standard (or the equivalent in experience) Ideally the role requires knowledge of UPS engineering, although applications from individuals with a background in field electronics will be considered. You need to be confident in electrical / electronic fault finding, installation and be able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
Flexibility in attitude is essential as well as being prepared to ’go the extra mile’ for a client. Overtime will be paid should you have to work outside of the prescribed hours, such as if you are required to attend site etc.
Hours of work are Monday - Thursday 08:30-17:00, with a 14:00 finish on Friday, work permitting. There will be a call out rota of one week in 5. The role may occasionally require work on Saturdays.
