Description
At Norbar Torque Tools Ltd., Europe’s leading torque tool manufacturer, we are fighting the recession by delivering innovative new designs in shorter lead times.
One element of our strategy is the manufacture of high quality cost effective British torque wrenches that compete with the products of developing countries. To achieve this we need to enhance our engineering team and your knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques such as machining, casting, forging and moulding will be key.
Your role will require lateral thinking with the ability to work both on your own initiative and as part of a cross functional team.
You will have a degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering together with a number of years experience in both low and medium volume product design and manufacture.
Experience in the use of an advanced 3D CAD package and in document management would be an advantage but is not essential.
In return for a 37½ hr week we can offer a starting salary in the range £29,600 to £38,570 per annum. Earning potential after a period of training for the right experience is £40,600.
