Our client is a well established UK manufacturing company supplying products and services for Cardiology, Radiology and Renal procedures in the UK and worldwide.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer to join them at their Bromsgrove site to be responsible for manufacturing and packaging quality issues and maintaining the required standards and regulations (ISO, FDA, OSRs).
As the Quality Engineer you will manage and execute site quality systems including CAPA, customer complaints, product release and change control. Using your excellent problem solving skills, you will provide a lead in Failure and Root Cause Analysis along with being involved with Risk Assessment and FMEA activities, process and product audits across the unit. Providing quality support for new and existing process development and validation within the manufacturing unit you will drive continuous Manufacturing Excellence across the Business.
Along with these duties you will be involved in a number of projects and tasks including Traceability requirements, Labelling and package integrity.
The successful candidate for this role will be qualified to a certificate level in an engineering, science or business related discipline coupled with previous experience within a quality engineering role. You will ideally have experience in a regulated controlled environment and in cleanroom manufacturing. Knowledge in areas such as packaging, equipment, cleaning and process is also required. You will have excellent analytical and communication skills are essential as you will be liaising with customers and senior management on a regular basis. This role would be ideal for a hard working confident team player with the ability to prioritise your workload and work under pressure.
