Our client is a global two billion euro chemicals company that is focused on serving customers in water-intensive industries. The company offers water quality and quantity management that improves customers’ energy, water, and raw material efficiency.
As part of their global R&D and Technology function, our client is responsible for high-quality and consistent execution of product safety and product regulatory compliance related activities globally. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a customer-orientated Product Safety Manager to take responsibility for product regulatory compliance for the Oil and Mining segment and become the link between sales and marketing and product safety
In this key role, you will represent the Oil and Mining segment for product safety on a global basis whilst supporting sales and marketing on product safety related customer communication and support within EMEA region. With responsibility for following up product regulatory development and participating in relevant industry and stakeholder task forces, you will also ensure development of segment specific product safety competences. You will actively contribute to business strategy and Product Safety target setting and budgeting.
Suitable candidates will be educated to degree level or equivalent in chemistry, environmental sciences, toxicology or related subject, and have expertise in product safety gained from the chemical industry. As well as having knowledge of oil and mining products and applications you will have good interpersonal and project management skills and the ability to network and communicate confidently.
