Our client is a quality focussed contract research organisation that carries out pre-clinical trials and test studies into pharmaceuticals. They have an outstanding reputation in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology arena.
They are currently seeking a Head of Quality Assurance to play a vital role in leading their team and helping to further improve systems and processes within the business. Within this role your main responsibilities will include ensuring that all operations conform to and comply with GXP regulations, developing new procedures, processes and key performance indicators and identifying areas of risk and implementing appropriate risk mitigation strategies. This is also an excellent opportunity to help define and work on the broader objective of driving company wide quality improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will have worked in a similar role previously and will demonstrate an understanding of GLP, a track record in managing teams and a broad interest in quality systems and how they can drive business improvement. Educated to degree level, ideally within a Life Science subject, you will have the relevant knowledge to be able to make your mark within this role and you will be analytical and structured in your way of thinking. It is essential that you have excellent communication and relationship skills and that you can build rapport easily. Highly organised, you will be capable of managing deadlines and you will have excellent people management skills.
