Due to their commitment for future growth, our client currently has opportunities for individuals to join their Production Team as Production Coordinators. The main purpose of the Production Coordinator role is to provide administrative and clerical support to the Production Team, providing an accurate analysis of results to produce unit KPI’s. Main responsibilities will include producing detailed analysis reports, updating the production management performance information figures on a daily basis and completing hourly production figures. The roles will also involve preparing and generating all production paperwork including kitting lists, pallet tickets and manning sheets, following up on non conformances and ensuring the appropriate remedies are carried out.
The successful candidates will have worked in similar roles previously and will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent in English and Maths. They will have experience of remaining accurate whilst working within a fast paced environment and they will possess exceptional organisational skills. Candidates will have good IT skills and be confident users of MS Packages, in particular Word and Excel. Effective in their communication skills, candidates will have the ability to seek information and will also be excellent team players. An ability to thoroughly understand the production process is essential as is a positive “can do” attitude. Basic food hygiene and basic health and safety qualifications would be advantageous as would experience of working within a food production / food safety environment.
