£26,408 - £48,300 plus benefits
Our client is the second largest steel producer in Europe with an annual crude steel capacity of 20 million tonnes and major manufacturing sites in the UK, Netherlands, Germany, France and Belgium.
This is a new and challenging role in which you will be leading a team of multi-disciplined engineers to deliver an effective and efficient maintenance service across the Department.
You will have a proven ability to deliver maintenance improvements through structured CI approaches. In addition, you will motivate and develop your team to deliver a safe, efficient and quality work programme.
Qualifications/Experience/Personal Qualities:
Educated to degree level or equivalent in either electrical or mechanical engineering, or with equivalent relevant experience, you will have proven ability to lead and develop a multi-disciplined team of engineers.
You will also have an in-depth knowledge of maintenance principles and strategies applicable to manufacturing and service related assets and be innovative in your approach to problem solving.
You will have proven ability to deliver risk awareness and mitigation for maintenance and construction activities across all engineering disciplines.
You will have the ability to utilise systems and analytical techniques to effectively manage maintenance activities. A preference will be given to candidates who have SAP PM experience.
