Senior Pricing Analyst

Our client is one of the world’s leading energy companies, with natural gas and electricity operations spanning the globe.
They are currently seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to join their team based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The main purpose of this role is to support the Pricing Manager and Head of function in delivering improvements to pricing methodologies, processes and systems.
Within this role your responsibilities will include wide ranging analysis to understand costs of supply, including the impact of changes in energy policy and regulation; establishing pricing assumptions and developing approaches for managing the risks associated with uncertain future costs.
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years experience within the energy industry, ideally within a commercial environment. You should be highly numerate, preferably degree educated in a numerate discipline, with excellent analytical skills and an advanced user of Microsoft Excel. It would be advantageous for you to have a specialism in either gas or electricity pricing.
You should also be able to demonstrate the ability to promote change and to influence and persuade others in a constructive manner. With a capability to communicate clearly and concisely, you will be confident when dealing with people at all levels and it is essential that you are fluent in English.
